Must I consume Food and Drink in a Specific Way?

  •   Don't overeat at any one meal.
  •   Chew your food well TO THE EXTREME with small mouthfuls. A large mouthful CANNOT be chewed well;
  •   Make sure that you are drinking at least 8 glasses of pure Water per day. More depending on climatic and activity conditions;
  •   Avoid alcohol;
  •   Do not eat or drink within 3 hours of retiring for the night;
  •   Being overweight makes the symptoms worse. If you need to lose weight, please advice;
  •   Do not eat meals that are high in especially the wrong fats and low in fiber;
  •   Avoid foods and drinks that cause heartburn and indigestion. You may be affected by some of the following:
      a. hot spicy food;
      b. orange or grapefruit juice;
      c. peppermint and spearmint;
      d. onions;
      e. tomato products;
      f. caffeinated or decaffeinated coffee, soda, chocolate.
