Diuretics

Too many people believe in the myth that if they drank the recommended quantity of Water per day – say a minimum of 8 glasses – they would spend the day urinating. The fact is that the Human Body requires this level in order to function and this quantity of Water is the bare minimum.

It is highly recommended that one takes more notice of the effects of Diuretics.

Firstly, by definition, Diuretics refers to anything that enhances the formation of urine by the kidneys.

There exist a number of conditions that will cause what is called Diuresis. These include Diabetes Mellitus whereby the increased glucose level in the blood is the cause for water loss in the urine; coffee, tea & alcoholic drinks; and certain diuretic drugs.
